Project Organization

Testsigma uses a simple hierarchy for organizing multiple Projects, Applications, Versions for each of those Applications and the Test Cases for all of them.

Here's a Sample Project hierarchy with a real-world scenario to understand more about the Hierarchy - Sample Project Hierarchy in Testsigma.

Test Development

If you have started writing tests and are unable to find the correct natural language statement(NLP Grammar) for the action to be performed, check the list of Natural Language Grammar Statements available in Testsigma under Test Development > NLP Grammar Page.

Also,  here's  a quick video showing you the Test Creation Process:

Advanced Test Development

Testsigma contains an extensive grammar for creating Test Steps using natural language. However, if you ever need help with a custom functionality that is not found in the predefined grammar, we have provision to create a Custom Function tailor made for that.

Custom Functions can be used to generate Test Data as per your need as well as performing actions such as Database Update, OTP Generation e.t.c

Here's a detailed video outlining the steps to creating Custom Functions tailored to your needs:

If you would like to read about it, please check the following guide - How to use Custom Functions in Testsigma?

Data Driven and Parallel Executions

Once you are comfortable with that, we can move onto creating some advanced Test Cases such as Data-driven Tests and a Parallel Test Execution in Testsigma.

Now we can move onto Hybrid Executions!

Hybrid Execution allows you to run your Tests on your local Machines. Configuring your System for Hybrid Executions might require some help and our Support team is always available to guide you with that.
Please try the below guide to setup your system for Hybrid Execution. Feel free to get back to us if you get stuck.
