As a first step, you can familiarise yourself with Testsigma and the terminologies that we use in the product - Testsigma Terminology
To complete this tutorial we recommend you complete the below chapters one by one.
Chapter 1: Pre-conditions for working with Testsigma specifies requisites like setting up an account, installing a plugin to automatically capture details of the UI elements, Agent setup for local execution e.t.c
Chapter 2: Install Chrome Extension explains how the Testsigma Chrome extension can be installed to capture elements effortlessly on a web application automatically.
Chapter 3: Sample Web App for testing provides an introduction to ‘Simply Travel’ sample application and a sample scenario that we are going to automate in this sample application.
Chapter 4: Create a Project that shows the steps to create a new Project in your Testsigma account and get started.
Chapter 5: Create UI Identifiers discusses UI identifiers(Element locators) and the different ways UI identifiers can be created to locate elements on web pages to perform actions.
Chapter 6: Create Test Case covers the basics of test case creation and explanation with the help of a sample test case.
Chapter 7: Run Test Case discusses different test execution methods in Testsigma and explains a sample test case run in detail.
Chapter 8: Analyze & Debug Failures explains methods to analyze the test results and debug common failures.
