Also, we recommend you to go through the overview of this getting started tutorial to understand all the chapters to go through one by one. We would recommend you to follow the same order if you are not doing that already.
In this chapter, we will discuss the pre-conditions to start the test automation of web applications in Testsigma.
You would need the 2 things mentioned below to proceed:

Testsigma Chrome Extension(Covered in the next chapter)
With Testsigma, in normal scenarios, you won’t need anything else except the two mentioned above for Test Case creation and execution. This is possible because we have a preconfigured setup integrated with Testsigma Lab(Testsigma’s own cloud infrastructure) that hosts and maintains a wide range of devices and browsers for the execution of your tests.
When you are starting up, we would recommend you to run your tests on Testsigma Lab(Testsigms’s own cloud Infrastructure) first and get familiar with the tool before moving onto running your tests locally using Hybrid Execution.
Once you are familiar with the tool, you can run your tests on your own local devices(Hybrid Execution) using the steps mentioned in the below article: Quick setup guide article
